Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
• 15 years of experience in heavy construction or equivalent in utility transmission/ distribution and/or construction industry.
• 5 years in a management position overseeing construction and/or transmission line/substation teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Project Managers on complex transmission projects from initiation through profitable execution.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships; present project plans, specs and documents to clients.
• Set work goals and expectations using industry best practices; drive a best-in-class transmission team.
• Position the organization for future growth with focus on process improvement and risk management.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to resolve design-related construction issues; approve shop drawings.
• Negotiate fee changes and ensure project completion to customer satisfaction.
• Foster customer relations through events and prompt issue resolution.
• Maintain union relations and participate in labor management activities.
• Attend divisional meetings and company functions; participate in special projects.
