Job summary

ADC Therapeutics America Inc in New Providence, NJ is seeking a Director of Training and Marketing to lead the strategy, development, and execution of training curricula for the Field Sales organization and to drive brand growth through marketing initiatives. This role will oversee onboarding for new hires, deliver ongoing training, and shape the brand strategy.

Based in New Providence with possible remote work, the position requires 7+ years in pharma/biotech, including marketing and sales

Qualifications

• 4-year BA/BS degree required.
• 7+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience, including at least 2 years in marketing and sales training.
• Pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience preferred.
• Oncology or hematology experience preferred.
• Experience developing training materials, including presentations, workshops, and reference resources.
• Proficiency in designing and delivering virtual training.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align objectives and maintain consistent training direction.
• Ability to build trust, foster relationships with field sales, field medical and marketing teams, and manage vendors within budget.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills with small and large groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, development, delivery, and facilitation of comprehensive sales training curricula.
• Ensure training materials comply with Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance requirements.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Market Access leadership to align training with objectives.
• Deliver advanced training curricula to Field Sales, Regional Marketing, and Field Medical teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert on product and disease state.
• Lead communications on label updates, new data, and congress abstracts.
• Lead congress booth training for large congresses.
• Develop and maintain training content within Veeva and the LMS.
• Assess training needs and improve curriculum through analyses and feedback.
• Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and programs in the US.
• Manage marketing projects and budgets across internal teams and external agencies.
• Travel to meetings and trainings as needed.
• Design and facilitate training for other functions and manage the Training & Development Budget.
