Job summary

International Mission Board in Richmond, VA is seeking a Director of Training to lead enterprise-wide learning and development initiatives, strengthen leadership capabilities, and support mission success. You will design, develop, and deliver innovative training programs for staff across levels to drive organizational effectiveness and staff engagement.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing enterprise-wide training programs.
  • Advanced expertise in adult learning principles and methodologies.
  • Outstanding facilitation, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Workday Learning administration and reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive organization-wide training and development strategy.
  • Assess learning needs and create training solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Design and facilitate instructor-led, virtual, blended, and e-learning programs.
  • Research emerging trends in learning and development and incorporate best practices.
  • Create engaging training content for leadership, professional, technical, and administrative staff.
  • Establish annual training priorities and curricula with organizational leadership.
  • Coordinate internal and external training opportunities and ensure alignment with standards.
  • Oversee LMS administration and optimize Workday Learning, Pathwright, and other platforms.
  • Manage training assignments, completion tracking, reporting, and learning records.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain learning technologies.
  • Analyze training outcomes and stakeholder feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
