Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on U.S. customs, trade compliance or related international trade work.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. customs requirements and complex transactions.
• Experience leading others and directing work in a consulting setting.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with risk awareness.
• Strong client-facing communication and collaboration with clients and brokers.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day and project-based trade compliance activities per client needs and regulations.
• Lead and review tariff classification, valuation, country-of-origin, FTZ, and import compliance tasks.
• Review customs entries, trade data, broker data and related documents for accuracy.
• Prepare workpapers, calculations, reconciliations, and client deliverables.
• Direct and review work of Senior Trade Services Specialists and consultants.
• Manage workstreams, priorities, deadlines, service levels and quality.
• Engage with clients, brokers, and logistics providers to resolve issues.
• Escalate high-risk or complex compliance issues as needed.
• Support client implementations and managed services with team oversight.
• Identify process improvements in trade compliance controls and procedures.
• Conduct quality-control reviews to ensure technical accuracy and standards.
• Assist engagement leadership with client communications and scope management.
