Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of hands-on U.S. customs and trade compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. customs requirements.
• Experience directing or reviewing the work of others.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to work with clients, brokers, and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day and project-based trade compliance activities.
• Perform tariff classification, valuation, country-of-origin and FTZ work.
• Review customs entries, trade data and broker documents for accuracy.
• Prepare and review workpapers, calculations, and client deliverables.
• Direct and review the work of Senior Trade Services Specialists and consultants.
• Manage assigned workstreams with priorities, deadlines and service levels.
• Work with clients, brokers, and logistics providers to obtain information.
• Identify high-risk issues and determine escalation.
• Support client implementations and managed services.
• Identify process improvements to trade compliance controls and procedures.
• Perform quality-control reviews to meet standards.
• Assist engagement leadership with client communications and scope management.
