Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Trade Services Specialist with 4+ years of hands-on trade compliance and international trade experience to support client engagements. The role focuses on executing activities across customs, tariff classification, valuation, FTZs, and related compliance requirements.

You will work independently on assigned tasks, manage priorities, analyze trade data, and deliver audit-ready workpapers and reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
4+ years of hands-on customs, trade compliance, or related international trade work.
Knowledge of U.S. customs regulations and trade data analysis.
Experience reviewing entries, documentation, and data with accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Execute day-to-day trade compliance activities per client needs and regulations.
Review entries, transactions, and documents for accuracy and compliance.
Perform tariff classification, country-of-origin, valuation analyses; prepare supporting docs.
Carry out FTZ activities, duty mitigation, and import operations tasks.
Provide guidance to junior team members and ensure high-quality deliverables.
