A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Trade Client Strategy Director to manage clinical policies and collaborate with various teams to enhance drug benefit programs. This role requires a Pharmacy degree and significant experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical contracting. The position is primarily remote, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
The hiring range for this role is:
$155,000.00 - $175,000.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range, and this range may be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the range may depend on factors including competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual bonus incentive pay.

Synergie is a new organization founded by Blue Cross and Blue Shield affiliated companies, focused on improving access and affordability to costly medical benefit drugs administered in clinical settings for nearly 100 million Americans. The Trade Client Strategy Director manages clinical policies, implements trade strategies, and collaborates with client relations for inquiries related to manufacturer contracts, drug policies, rebate qualification, and cross-benefit management. The role involves establishing partnerships with internal teams to develop and execute rebate programs, serving as the primary trade contact for participant activities, and supporting clinical decision-making.
Consult with Client Relations on trade inquiries, initiatives, and opportunities with participants.
Understand the impact of rebate and formulary strategies and communicate effectively with health plan participants.
Have working knowledge of PBM operations, drug, and utilization management strategies and policies.
Interpret pharmaceutical manufacturer drug contracts and align terms with UM policies.
Manage clinical policies with participants to ensure contract compliance.
Support Client Relations for trade-related inquiries.
Travel up to 10%. Work is generally remote.
