Job summary

AbbVie in the United States is seeking a senior analytics leader within APEX MAPS Trade to drive trade and distribution analytics across Market Access, Trade, and Brand stakeholders. You will translate syndicated data and research into actionable insights to support channel performance and ROI.

You will partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Pricing, HEOR, and franchise teams to inform strategy and guide vendors to deliver timely analytics, research, and recommendations at senior levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field with 5+ years in pharma analytics.
• Experience applying statistical methods to CMS, IQVIA, Symphony Health data.
• Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Ability to lead analytics and primary research for supply chain stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead trade and distribution analytics, evaluate performance, and quantify ROI.
• Partner with Market Access, Trade & Distribution, Brand Marketing, Finance, Legal, Pricing, HEOR, Patient Services, and franchise teams to influence decisions.
• Plan and execute analytics and primary research for specialty pharmacy, retail pharmacy, payors, GPOs, wholesalers, and patient services.
• Pull, integrate, and analyze internal and syndicated data to generate insights on channel performance, patient access, distribution flow, and risks.
• Develop and apply advanced analytical models to assess payer, channel, and trade dynamics and support decision-making.
• Drive KPI reporting, standardized performance measurement, and Trade Quarterly Business Reviews to monitor performance.
• Evaluate the value and impact of contracts and develop data-driven strategies with trading partners.
• Communicate clear, actionable recommendations to leadership and guide vendors and team members to deliver insights on time.
