Job summary

Maximus is seeking a seasoned Project Financial Manager in Tysons, VA to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis for a state tolling contract. You will lead day-to-day operations, drive financial controls, and coordinate with the state client to meet performance targets.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, PMP certification, and a proven ability to manage large call center operations (~700 agents) while maintaining KPIs and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of professional experience.
• Experience leading day-to-day tolling contract operations and large call centers with KPIs and SLAs.
• Willingness to relocate to New York state; current residency ok if already there.
• PMP certification is preferred and demonstrates program management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis.
• Serve as primary contact for the state client.
• Ensure contract compliance with all requirements and regulations.
• Set goals with Project Manager that support overall strategy.
• Oversee administrative operations including budget, financial controls, and HR.
• Plan, develop and schedule priorities to achieve performance goals.
• Review management, productivity, and financial reports to ensure objectives.
• Participate in audits, forecasts, and modeling to guide direction.
• Manage operational managers with performance appraisals and development guidance.
• Demonstrate proactive leadership in achieving corporate goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
