Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation in Wesley Chapel, Florida, seeks a Director of Therapy Operations to shape patient care and lead therapy services across our programs. Qualifications

• Current state license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited therapy program.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in professional or management areas preferred.
• Minimum of five years of rehabilitation experience, including two years in a management role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, implement, and communicate policies, processes, and procedures, holding staff accountable for their respective roles and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to educate staff and the community about awareness, prevention, and treatment options; develop and support clinical affiliations and relationships with educational institutions.
• Use historical data and emerging trends to forecast operational revenues and expenses, and make recommendations on compensation adjustments based on internal and external market conditions.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of state, federal, and professional regulatory requirements for program reimbursement, business standards, legal issues, and documentation requirements; apply them to program operations and departments, educate staff on updates, and advise the CEO on operational needs.
• Provide patient care.
• Celebrate the accomplishments and victories of dedicated staff and patients along the way.
