Job summary

Encompass Health, a national inpatient rehabilitation leader, seeks a Director of Therapy Operations in Amarillo, TX to oversee Therapy Operations, guiding the organization, development, and supervision to ensure the highest quality care close to home. You will lead policy development, education initiatives, and collaborative programs with educational institutions.

Qualifications

• Current State license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited therapy program.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in professional management areas preferred.
• Minimum of five years of rehabilitation experience, including two years in a management role.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, implement, and communicate policies, processes, and procedures, holding staff accountable for their roles.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to educate staff and the community about awareness, prevention, and treatment options.
• Forecast operational revenues and expenses and make recommendations based on internal and external market conditions for salary adjustments.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for program reimbursement and apply them to operations and departments.
• Educate and communicate updates and changes in standards to staff and advise the CEO on needs for effective operation.
• Provide patient care.
• Celebrate the accomplishments and victories of our dedicated staff and patients.

Qualifications
