Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation seeks a seasoned Director of Therapy Operations to shape patient care across our inpatient rehabilitation network. You will oversee therapy operations, drive quality, and lead teams toward outstanding outcomes in a growth-focused organization.

The role requires licensure in PT/OT/SLP, a minimum of five years rehab experience including two in management, and advanced degrees. We offer comprehensive benefits and a culture of inclusion.

Qualifications

• Current State license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited therapy program.
• Master’s or Doctorate in management areas preferred.
• Minimum of five years rehab experience, including two years in a management role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, implement, and communicate policies, processes, and procedures; hold staff accountable for roles and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with marketing to educate staff and the community about awareness, prevention, and treatment options; develop clinical affiliations with educational institutions.
• Use historical data and trends to forecast revenues and expenses; advise on potential salary adjustments based on market conditions.
• Maintain knowledge of state, federal, and regulatory requirements for program reimbursement, standards, and documentation; educate staff and advise the CEO.
• Provide patient care.
• Celebrate accomplishments and victories of staff and patients.

Qualifications
