Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Director of Therapy Operations in Dayton, OH. You will lead therapy operations, shape patient care, and supervise staff to ensure top-quality outcomes close to home.

The role focuses on policy development, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to drive performance and growth in a nationwide inpatient rehabilitation leader.

Qualifications

• Current license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited therapy program.
• Master's or Doctorate in a professional/management area preferred.
• Minimum of five years rehabilitation experience, including two years in a management role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, implement and communicate policies and procedures; hold staff accountable.
• Collaborate with marketing to educate staff and the community about awareness and treatment options; develop clinical affiliations with institutions.
• Use historical data and trends to forecast revenues and expenses and recommend salary adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and professional regulations for program reimbursement and operations; update staff and advise CEO as needed.
• Provide patient care and celebrate staff and patient accomplishments.
