Job summary

Encompass Health seeks a Director of Therapy Operations to lead the organization, development, and supervision of Therapy Operations, ensuring the highest quality care while adhering to standards. You will guide policies, processes, and staff accountability with access to cutting-edge equipment and a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, clinical affiliations, and financial forecasting to drive operational success and positive patient outcomes in a nationwide inpatient

Qualifications

• Current State license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited therapy program.
• Additional training with a Master's or Doctorate degree in professional management areas is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of rehabilitation experience, including two years in a management role, is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, implement, and communicate policies, processes, and procedures, holding staff accountable for their roles.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to educate staff and the community about awareness, prevention, and treatment options; develop and support clinical affiliations with educational institutions.
• Forecast operational revenues and expenses using historical data and emerging trends; make recommendations for potential salary adjustments.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of state, federal, and professional regulatory requirements for program reimbursement, business standards, legal issues, and documentation; educate staff and advise the CEO on needs for operation.
• Provide patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS(CPR)requiredormustbeobtainedwithin30daysofhirewithinthisrole.
• Bachelor'sDegreeorhigherfromanaccreditedtherapyprogram.
• AdditionaltrainingwithaMaster'sorDoctoratedegreeinprofessionalormanagementareais preferred.
• Minimumoffiveyearsofrehabilitationexperience,includingtwoyearsinamanagementrole,is required.
