Job summary

Mountain Shadows Ancillary Services in California seeks a Program Director to lead the New Beginnings Therapeutic Day Program for individuals with IDD and behavioral health needs, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services and strict regulatory compliance.

Under the Director of Ancillary Services, you will supervise staff, manage daily operations, oversee safety, administer medications when needed, and collaborate with regional centers and interdisciplinary teams to promote participant

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related human services field.
Minimum of two years managing a human-services delivery system; licensed adult day program preferred.
At least two years’ experience with individuals with IDD and behavioral support needs.
Experience providing staff training in crisis intervention techniques (Pro-Act preferred).
Minimum of two years of progressive supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the New Beginnings Therapeutic Day Program in compliance with laws, licensing, and policies.
Monitor service quality to ensure regulatory compliance (Title 17, Title 22, others).
Oversee daily program operations, safety, and facility upkeep.
Plan, supervise, and develop staff to achieve program outcomes.
Maintain participant-to-staff ratios and participant safety.
Supervise staff training, including crisis intervention and safety policies.
