Job summary

Amphenol Corporation is seeking a Director of Test Development Engineering for the Cable Backplane Systems team in Etters, PA. The role leads global test development strategy, governance, and architecture to deliver scalable, production-ready test solutions across NPI and manufacturing.

The successful candidate combines deep technical expertise in high-speed interconnect testing with enterprise leadership, organizational development, and executive communication.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field; MS or MBA preferred.
• 15+ years progressively responsible experience in electronics/test development or related fields.
• 10+ years of engineering leadership including managers and multi-site orgs.
• Experience owning global engineering strategy, portfolio, and executive reporting.
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing environments and customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the global Test Development Engineering strategy for CBS.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of electrical, functional, and manufacturing test solutions.
• Establish standards for test coverage, calibration, and data integrity.
• Govern global NPI/test teams and manufacturing test support.
• Drive architecture standards for test equipment, software, and data systems.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Signal Integrity, Operations, and Quality.
