Job summary

TAK Broadband, LLC in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced Director of Construction to provide strategic leadership and daily management of multi-state construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

This role oversees project execution from concept to completion—managing teams, budgets, and client relationships while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of underground construction, aerial, coax and fiber experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• OSHA 20 Certification preferred or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily management and strategic direction for multi-state projects and teams.
• Manage internal and external resources to achieve project deadlines and goals.
• Lead startup process of new construction activities or regional acquisitions; assess risk and manage scope, schedule and budget.
• Routinely visit project sites and collaborate with local leaders and teams.
• Manage supply chain issues and maintain strong customer relationships; provide reporting on budgets and P&L.
• Travel throughout the market +/-50% annually as needed.
• Ensure safety standards meet company and regulatory requirements.
