Summary

The Director of Technology Support Service will direct and optimize daily operations for end-user technology support, focusing on fast problem resolution and delivering excellent service experiences. This role leads a technical support team, manages escalations, ensures service delivery standards are met, and continuously refines workflows. Success requires strong leadership, hands-on technical ability, and a drive for innovation in support processes.

Responsibilities

• Guide and develop the Service Support Team to maintain consistent and high-quality operations.
• Oversee issue intake and resolution, ensuring requests are prioritized and addressed quickly.
• Track service performance metrics to meet or exceed operational benchmarks.
• Respond to escalated issues, working across teams to resolve complex problems efficiently.
• Supervise vendor coordination and ensure tools are managed effectively.
• Partner with other teams to resolve system or infrastructure-related concerns.
• Manage user onboarding and offboarding from a technical systems perspective.
• Conduct performance check-ins and deliver formal reviews for Support staff.
• Act as a senior-level technical support resource when advanced troubleshooting is required.
  
  

Requirements

• 4–6+ years in a leadership position overseeing technical support operations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across network, desktop, macOS, and Cloud platforms.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across various support platforms.
• Demonstrated history of success driving process improvements in a technical setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across technical and non-technical groups.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as needed throughout the year.
