Job summary

AmerisourceBergen is seeking a Director of the Technology Innovation Center of Excellence (CoE) to govern and advance the evaluation, pilot, and deployment of supply chain technologies. You will own a stage gate framework and collaborate with executives, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver measurable value.

The role requires 10+ years in supply chain or technology, with 3–5 years in leadership, and a strong track record in governance, vendor management, and executive storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years in supply chain operations, strategy, or technology with 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience designing or managing a stage gate, innovation pipeline, or governance process.

Responsibilities

• Stage Gate Process Ownership: design, implement, and improve a multi-stage gate framework with clear criteria.
• Technology Evaluation & Scouting: identify emerging technologies and conduct market analysis.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Governance: partner with ops, IT, Finance, Legal, and Compliance; build advisory board.
• Portfolio & Performance Management: manage budget, establish KPIs, report outcomes to leadership.
• Team Leadership & CoE Culture: lead cross-functional stakeholders and foster experimentation.
