Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Director for the Technology Innovation Center of Excellence to govern the evaluation, piloting, and deployment of emerging supply chain technologies. You will lead a structured stage-gate process, coordinate with executives, and drive measurable value across the organization.

You will build dashboards, manage the pipeline, and engage vendors, startups, and industry groups to stay ahead of trends while aligning with strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in supply chain ops, strategy, or tech with 3–5 years in leadership.
• Experience designing or managing a stage-gate, innovation pipeline, or governance process.
• Strong understanding of distribution, logistics, procurement, or inventory.
• Ability to build executive-level presentations and facilitate leadership forums.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design and own a multi-stage gate framework for evaluating, piloting, and scaling innovations.
• Define criteria, rubrics, and checkpoints for ideation to sunset stages.
• Lead cross-functional gate review committees with executive stakeholders.
• Maintain an innovation pipeline dashboard for active and archived tech candidates.
• Identify emerging technologies relevant to supply chain operations.
• Develop relationships with vendors, startups, and industry bodies.
• Conduct market analysis, due diligence, and TCO modeling.
• Build an Innovation Advisory Board and executive-ready business cases.
• Drive alignment of innovations with the broader supply chain roadmap.
• Manage the portfolio budget and measure value delivery to leadership.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional CoE network and foster a culture of experimentation.
