Delek US Holdings in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Senior Director, Technical Excellence to lead a centralized technical organization across the refining network. The role will drive improvements in safety, reliability, margin, and performance through rigorous discipline, performance management, and effective execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8+ years management experience leading technical or engineering teams.
• 15+ years of process engineering experience in refining or petrochemical environments.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams including process engineering, process control, and digital/analytics resources.
• Strong technical foundation in refinery or petrochemical operations with diagnosing complex issues.
• Direct experience in operations, technical services, or process support roles in an operating facility.
• Ability to influence site leadership and communicate with executive stakeholders.
• Proven ability to identify performance gaps and drive issues to resolution with measurable results.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% to refinery sites and corporate locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a centralized multi-disciplinary technical organization across Delek’s refining network.
• Identify performance gaps and define strategic priorities; execute improvement initiatives.
• Ensure technical standards are established, applied consistently, and monitored with actionable plans.
• Collaborate with refinery leadership to deliver sustained results in safety, reliability, margin and operations.
• Translate insights from benchmarking and internal analyses into practical resolution pathways.
• Provide high-level technical oversight and support for refinery process performance and troubleshooting.
