Job summary

Delek US Holdings is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to ensure safe, reliable refinery operation across our Texas-based assets. The role requires deep knowledge of refinery processes, equipment, and data-driven optimization to improve unit performance.

The candidate partners with maintenance, operations, and finance to drive economic improvements, mentor junior engineers, and support continuous safety enhancements in a challenging industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (4-year) required.
• 6+ years of process engineering experience in refining industry.
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• No Licensure or Certification Required.

Responsibilities

• Process engineering to ensure safe, environmentally friendly, reliable refinery operation.
• Coordinate and influence achievement of objectives using data-driven thinking.
• Lead daily performance monitoring including mass balance, energy consumption, yields and unit health indicators.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and provide troubleshooting and optimization support for operations.
