Job summary

Quarterhill is seeking a Director, Technical Delivery to lead strategic and technical direction across a portfolio of customer implementations. You will guide a team of Technical Delivery Managers, align delivery with executive strategy, and ensure scalable, high-quality outcomes.

The role combines hands-on delivery with strategic planning, requiring proactive leadership and deep knowledge of tolling systems, integration lifecycles, and customer-facing execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of tolling industry experience, including at least two full-cycle agency system deliveries preferred.
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex or enterprise system solutions.
• Strong understanding of system integration, software delivery lifecycles, and customer implementation strategies.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring technical delivery managers or similar technical leads preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Delivery, Product, Program Management, and Business Leadership to define and deliver robust solutions aligned with objectives.
• Serve as the senior technical authority across customer implementations and set standards for product capability mapping.
• Champion a positive customer experience by establishing frameworks for quality, reliability, and responsiveness.
• Lead organizational technology assessments and continuous improvement initiatives and drive changes into delivery practice.
• Own refinement and optimization of delivery methodologies across the full portfolio, establishing best practices for the team.
• Elevate customer requirements to inform product roadmap and business strategy with senior leadership.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of tolling systems and Quarterhill's platforms and integrations.
