Xylem is seeking a Director of Technical Accounting in Charlotte, NC. Hybrid work arrangement with three days in-office, reporting to the Senior Director, Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting.

This role leads complex GAAP analyses, supports SEC filings, and shapes global accounting policies across a multinational environment. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in public accounting or financial reporting, a CPA, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Formación

• Strong U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting knowledge with form 10-K/10-Q experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional workstreams and close processes.
• Public-company experience with multinational or multi-entity environments.
• Ability to communicate complex accounting matters to leadership and auditors.

Responsabilidades

• Research and document complex technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP.
• Lead technical accounting workstreams for complex transactions with cross-functional teams.
• Support SEC reporting including Form 10-K/10-Q disclosures and related notes.
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and SEC developments and assess impact.
• Provide guidance on inventory, derivatives, debt, intercompany financing, and leases.
