Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Director, Team Health Education Development and Special Projects to lead strategic planning, education programs, and regulatory compliance across Team Health initiatives. You will partner with VPs and other Directors to design, implement, and evaluate programs that enhance workforce engagement and care quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• 7 years of progressively responsible related work experience in Healthcare setting.
• 5 years of management/leadership experience.
• 3 years experience in education and program/curriculum design.
• 3 years experience with regulatory standards and compliance (e.g., OSHA, NJDOHSS, CDC, TJC, etc.).
• Project management, process improvement and strategic planning experience.
• Data management, analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• Project Management Professional Certification and Lean Six-Sigma knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Vice Presidents (VPs) and fellow Directors with the design and completion of a strategic plan and annual goals.
• Assists VPs and fellow Directors with development and implementation of programs to improve workplace engagement.
• Oversees the development and implementation of Team Health's orientation, education and competency assessment.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure regulatory standards are integrated into education and documented.
• Monitors OSHA, CMS, State of New Jersey, The Joint Commission and other standards for policy updates.
• Manages staff competencies, skills checklists and remediation.
• Develops new education programs to support evolving objectives.
• Builds relationships with vendors to roll out learning models.
• Oversees training and data collection relating to Team Health topics.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and procedures.
• Develops actions for process improvements while maintaining laws and policies.
• Provides project oversight and reports progress to leadership.
• Assists in recruitment and supervision of team members.
• Contributes to performance management with customized development plans.
