Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Nurse Professional Development Specialist (NPD) to lead education and professional development for nursing staff with an emphasis on adult learning, research, and evidence-based practice.

The role builds teaching strategies, develops competency programs, and coordinates transitions across clinical settings, improving patient outcomes and safety. Requires a Master’s in Nursing, NLN/AACN accreditation, and NJ RN license with strong communication and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in nursing or related field.
• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing.
• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in acute care.
• Experience with chemo/oncology and telemetry MS patients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
