Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Director of Team Health Education Development and Special Projects to lead strategic education programs and ensure regulatory compliance across OSHA, NJDOHSS, CDC and TJC standards.

The role collaborates with VPs and other directors to design plans, develop curricula, and drive performance metrics while overseeing team health training and data reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Minimum of 7 years of healthcare experience.
• Minimum of 5 years management/leadership experience.
• Minimum of 3 years education/program design experience.
• Minimum of 3 years regulatory compliance experience (OSHA, NJDOHSS, CDC, TJC).
• Project management, process improvement and strategic planning experience.
• Data management, analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist VPs and Directors with strategic plan design and annual goals.
• Develop and implement programs to improve team member engagement.
• Oversee orientation, education and competency assessment per regulations.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure regulatory standards are integrated into education.
• Monitor OSHA, CMS, NJDOHSS, CDC, TJC for policy updates and changes.
• Review and manage staff competencies, checklists and remediation.
• Develop new education programs to support evolving objectives.
• Build relationships with vendors to roll out learning models.
• Oversee training related to Team Health topics and data reporting.
