Pathward is seeking a Director of Compliance for the Tax Division to lead the development and oversight of our compliance program, ensuring adherence to federal and state laws, banking regulations, tax industry requirements, and internal policies.

The role partners with tax leadership, BSA/AML operations, and risk groups to strengthen controls, reporting, and system enhancements while guiding loan portfolio compliance and due diligence practices.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation preferred.
• Typically 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience managing compliance programs or teams.
• Experience with banking, tax financial products or consumer financial services.
• Experience with regulators, auditors, and external partners; BSA/AML operations Teams.
• Fair Lending oversight experience (ECOA, Disparate Impact testing, Risk Model reviews).

Responsabilidades

• Leads the compliance team to develop skills, provide training, and establish professional standards.
• Designs and manages the implementation of risk management processes for bank products and loan portfolio compliance.
• Directs loss prevention review processes to identify patterns using reporting tools and due diligence.
• Leads compliance reviews to ensure regulatory compliance and improve internal controls.
• Collaborates with compliance oversight and business risk groups on program insights.
• Participates in projects with compliance impact to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Oversees independently owned Tax Offices regarding due diligence practices.
• Assists in developing and enhancing risk management policies and procedures.
• Performs problem management, escalation, and acts as a subject matter expert in risk discipline.
