IDEX Corporation in Northbrook, Illinois is seeking a Director of Talent Management to lead the enterprise talent strategy, governance, and data-driven decisions that develop, engage, and retain top talent. The role partners with HR and business leaders to design practical, scalable solutions and improve leadership capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Human Resources, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, Leadership Development, or broader HR leadership roles.
• Experience leading Talent Management in complex, decentralized or matrixed organizations with standardized processes.
• Strong expertise in succession planning, talent reviews, leadership assessment, performance management, and engagement.
• Experience designing talent strategies, operating models, and metrics that improve leadership pipeline and internal mobility.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve enterprise talent management system and governance across performance, succession, development, engagement, and mobility.
• Define enterprise talent operating cadence: reviews, cycles, processes, and engagement rhythms.
• Establish enterprise talent standards and frameworks; drive adoption with tailored differentiations.
• Lead succession planning and readiness assessments to strengthen bench strength for critical roles.
• Define talent data, analytics and technology strategy including system roadmap and vendor partnerships.
