Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a Director of Talent to lead enterprise talent management and learning initiatives. You will partner with senior leaders to build a strong leadership pipeline, align programs with business priorities, and drive organizational effectiveness across regions and functions.

You will oversee performance processes, engagement listening, and development programs while managing budgets and external partners. A strategic, data-driven leader with strong communication will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in talent management, learning and development, employee engagement, organizational development, or related discipline.
• Strong field and operational experience with frontline employees and leaders.
• Experience in industrial services, construction, manufacturing, or similar decentralized, field-intensive operations.
• Demonstrated success building or transforming talent and learning programs in evolving organizations.
• Strong business and financial acumen with ability to connect investments to outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior executives in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation, facilitation, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated talent strategy aligned with BrandSafway's priorities and workforce needs.
• Lead enterprise performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, career development, and leadership development.
• Oversee the annual performance management and calibration cycle across the business.
• Strengthen leadership pipelines by identifying critical roles and developing future leaders.
• Lead employee engagement and listening strategies, including surveys and focus groups.
• Guide enterprise listening initiatives with vendors, survey deployment, and action follow-through.
• Translate feedback and workforce data into priorities and actions to improve engagement and performance.
• Partner with operations and leaders to develop training that strengthens capability, safety, and productivity.
• Collaborate with commercial leaders to develop sales training and enablement programs.
• Assess and evolve sales training to address changing priorities and field needs.
• Design onboarding and development programs for branch managers and frontline leaders.
• Establish learning standards and tailor programs to regions and functions.
• Collaborate with leaders to identify talent gaps and organizational opportunities.
• Measure success with talent, engagement, learning, and business data.
