Longview Regional Medical Center is seeking a strategic Director of Surgical Services to lead the department, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. You will drive planning, staffing, budgeting, and collaboration across surgeons, anesthesia, nursing, and support teams.

The role emphasizes organizational leadership, financial oversight, and continuous improvement to optimize outcomes, patient experience, and efficiency within a busy surgical services program.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years of direct experience in lieu of a degree accepted.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of related field experience with a Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily operations of Surgical Services, ensuring staffing and resource optimization.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes and safety.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff and stakeholders for patient flow.
• Recruit, hire and develop surgical services staff; mentor and educate.
• Monitor patient care processes and outcomes; address concerns and improve satisfaction.
• Drive initiatives to sustain a positive work culture and retention.
• Respond to patient care issues, conduct investigations, implement corrective actions.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and regulatory standards.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure departmental success.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to manage instruments and equipment.
