Longview Regional Medical Center in Longview, TX is seeking a full-time Nurse Manager of Surgical Services. This leadership role oversees daily operations across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op areas, guiding clinical and non-clinical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

You will lead performance improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and collaborate with physicians and support services to optimize service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required or 4+ years of direct experience in lieu.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of leadership experience preferred.
• RN license required and applicable regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the delivery of patient care across the surgical continuum (preop, intraop, postop).
• Supervises and evaluates staff performance in surgical services.
• Applies evidence-based practices and performance improvement methodologies.
• Analyzes data related to patient satisfaction, quality metrics, staffing, and operations.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures for surgical services.
• Collaborates with physicians and support services to ensure effective communication and coordination.
