Job description

ICM is scaling, and supply chain will be a critical enabler of profitable growth. The Director of Supply Chain Management will build and lead the systems, people, supplier relationships, and operating discipline needed to support project delivery, Aftermarket Services (AMS), manufacturing, and regional execution.

This hands-on builder will move ICM from reactive expediting to proactive supply chain control by improving visibility, supplier discipline, buying leverage, D365-enabled workflows, and decision quality. This role should perform all responsibilities in accordance with ICM's corporate values of Innovation, Ownership, Humility, Collaboration, and Stewardship.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
  • Build the supply chain operating system. Establish practical standards for procurement, sourcing, supplier management, inventory, logistics, warehousing, service parts, facilities/fleet, material readiness, and closeout.
  • Lead strategic supplier relationships. Develop supplier segmentation, scorecards, QBRs, negotiation plans, risk reviews, and supplier development routines that improve cost, quality, delivery, responsiveness, innovation, and continuity.
  • Leverage ICM's buying power. Consolidate spend where appropriate, align purchasing across projects and AMS, and use ICM's demand profile to improve pricing, availability, lead times, service levels, and supplier accountability.
  • Enable project delivery, AMS, and regional execution. Improve material readiness, service parts support, supplier commitments, logistics planning, inventory visibility, and escalation routines before schedules, margins, field execution, or customer commitments are impacted.
  • Strengthen inventory, warehouse, and facilities/fleet discipline. Improve inventory accuracy, cycle counts, safety stock logic, receiving, storage, staging, obsolete inventory management, warehouse processes, and facilities/fleet coordination.
  • Make risk, cost, and capacity visible. Provide decision-ready reporting on supplier performance, critical materials, constrained capacity, price exposure, freight risk, working capital, and needed decisions.
  • Lead and develop the team. Set direction, priorities, standards, coaching, and accountability for Project Buyers, the AMS Buyer, Warehouse and Inventory Management, Facilities/Fleet Management, and assigned support resources.
  • Partner with IT and Finance to optimize D365 and strengthen controls. Improve workflows, data quality, reporting, adoption, internal controls, approval discipline, and segregation of duties across procurement, receiving, inventory, and payment processes.
  • Build lessons learned into the next cycle. Convert recurring issues from projects, AMS, suppliers, and regional work into stronger standards, supplier expectations, and planning routines.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across procurement, strategic sourcing, logistics, inventory, warehouse operations, facilities/fleet, manufacturing, industrial projects, aftermarket services, EPC, construction, regional support, or another complex project-based environment required.
  • Demonstrated success in supplier relationships, sourcing, negotiation, spend analysis, planning, inventory control, logistics, performance reporting, and cross-functional communication required
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience required; experience improving ERP workflows, data quality, reporting, adoption, controls, approvals, and process alignment preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Hands-on, systems-minded supply chain leader who can work in D365, analyze performance, resolve constraints, and prepare decision-ready reporting.
  • Strong commercial judgment; able to connect demand, spend, cost, margin, lead time, supplier risk, inventory, logistics, and execution into practical business decisions.
  • Credible with project managers, AMS leaders, manufacturing leaders, engineering, finance, sales, suppliers, IT, and senior leadership.
  • Able to support regional supply chain needs across different markets, supplier bases, logistics conditions, and service expectations, with Brazil and Argentina as current priorities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, facilitation, and change leadership skills.
  • Strong cultural fit: innovation, ownership, humility, collaboration, stewardship, and commitment to leaving the system better than found.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must possess valid driver's license with no restrictions
  • Role may require up to 10% Travel (remote site visits and/or conferences & training)
    • May also include international travel
