Overview

The Manager, Supply Chain - Analytics & SCM Intelligence is responsible for transforming supply chain data into actionable business intelligence that supports strategic decision-making across global operations. This role serves as the central point for supply chain reporting, analytics, performance measurement, forecasting, and digital transformation initiatives.

The position will lead the development of data-driven insights across procurement, sourcing, logistics, fabrication, inventory, project execution, supplier performance, and overall supply chain effectiveness. The successful candidate will leverage modern Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Dataverse, Power Apps, and AI-enabled analytical tools to improve visibility, decision making, and operational performance.

Working closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Finance, IT, and Executive Leadership, this role will establish scalable reporting frameworks, automate business processes, and develop predictive analytics capabilities that support growth, operational excellence, and future public company requirements.

This position is an individual contributor role. The role directly reports to the Vice President of Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

Supply Chain Analytics

• Develop and maintain enterprise-level Supply Chain dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Analyze procurement, inventory, logistics, supplier, and project data to identify risks, opportunities, and trends.
• Create predictive and prescriptive analytics to improve forecasting, sourcing, inventory optimization, and supplier management.
• Design executive-level reporting packages providing clear visibility into supply chain performance.
• Establish standardized metrics and governance processes for Supply Chain data across global operations.
• Perform deep-dive analyses to support strategic sourcing initiatives, cost reduction programs, and operational improvement projects.

Data Management & Digital Transformation

• Lead Supply Chain adoption of Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, Power BI, and Power Platform solutions.
• Design and implement automated workflows, digital forms, and process improvements utilizing Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Support the migration of legacy databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools into scalable enterprise data platforms.
• Develop and manage Supply Chain data models, data lakes, and reporting architectures.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, and accessibility across supply chain systems.
• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to improve integration between ERP, procurement, logistics, and operational systems.

Business Partnership & Strategic Support

• Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to support strategic planning and business initiatives.
• Provide analytical support for major project pursuits, capital investments, and operational decisions.
• Develop presentations and analytical summaries for executive and board-level reviews.
• Partner with Finance to align operational metrics with financial performance and business outcomes.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Supply Chain data, reporting, and analytics.

Supply Chain Market Intelligence & Estimating Support

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Supply Chain Market Intelligence program to support estimating, sourcing, project execution, and strategic planning.
• Monitor and analyze global commodity price trends including steel plate, nickel alloys, stainless steel, aluminum, piping, structural steel, electrical components, freight, and other critical project materials.
• Track and report regional and global economic indicators, inflation trends, labor markets, tariffs, exchange rates, and geopolitical developments that may impact supply chain costs or availability.
• Develop cost trend models and forecasting tools to provide forward-looking pricing guidance for budgeting and project estimating activities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Procurement and/or Subcontracts experience in progressively advancing roles, especially sourcing material for diverse companies preferred.
• Experience managing large projects.
• Strong experience developing Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
• 20+ years of related industry experience working within manufacturing, EPC, industrial, energy, construction, or project-based environments preferred.
• Demonstrated success driving digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and supply chain data structures.

Skills and Behaviors

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Expert-level Microsoft Excel and Power BI proficiency.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, Power Apps, and Power Platform.
• Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and business intelligence architectures is a plus.
