Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, sourcing, or plant operations.
• Proven experience leading commodity management or supply chain organizations across multiple locations.
• Strong background in supplier negotiations, cost management, planning, and logistics operations.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (~20%).

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and implements supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives and long-range planning initiatives.
• Partners with the VP of Supply Chain to translate strategy into actionable execution plans across sourcing, planning, and logistics.
• Provides direct leadership of the commodity management organization and drives cost, supplier performance, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborates with plant materials management to align sourcing strategies with demand planning and plant execution.
• Leads SIOP processes to align demand, supply, and capacity and ensure effective inventory strategies.
• Owns and leads logistics strategy and execution, including transportation and freight optimization.
• Drives supplier management activities including negotiations, contracts, performance management, and relationship development.
• Drives material cost reduction initiatives and achieves financial targets through cost savings programs.
• Establishes supplier expectations to improve quality, delivery, and lead times.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to align supply chain with product requirements and financial objectives.
• Develops and implements policies to ensure supply continuity and efficient material flow.
• Conducts data analysis, benchmarking, and market assessments to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Leads and develops team members through hiring, performance management, and capability development.
