Job summary

Alloy Surfaces Company (ASC) seeks a Director of Supply Chain Management to lead procurement, materials management, and master scheduling. The role drives Lean implementations, supplier partnerships, and strategic sourcing to improve KPIs and reduce costs.

Responsibilities include overseeing ERP/MRP, forecasting, and inventory planning, with collaboration across Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to meet program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in supply chain, engineering, business or related field.
• MBA and/or APICS certification preferred.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Procurement, Materials Management, Master Scheduling and Inventory Management.
• Develop supplier relationships to support ASC operations.
• Lead Lean initiatives and drive performance via KPIs and visual management.
• Manage material costs through strategic sourcing, LTAs, forecasting and inventory optimization.
• Develop strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and obsolescence.
• Lead supplier partnerships to support risk sharing and surge capacity.
• Oversee vendor consolidation and standardization to reduce TCO.
• Ensure effective ERP/MRP utilization for planning and reporting.
• Develop analytical tools/reporting to improve visibility and decisions.
