Job summary

KeHE Distributors, an employee-owned distributor of natural and organic products, is seeking a Director of Supplier Management in Naperville, IL. You will lead a team responsible for monitoring supplier profitability, performance, and administering partnerships to optimize cost, speed, and service.

The role collaborates with Category Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and Pricing to improve processes and supplier relationships, aligning with KeHE's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required.
• Minimum of 5+ years in food and/or distribution.
• Minimum of 4+ years leading and developing teams.
• Experience with data mining software (i.e., SAP, Cognos) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of Supplier Managers to identify, monitor, and track profitability and performance opportunities.
• Holds team to manage profitability negotiations, policy execution, and dispute resolution.
• Provide leadership to ensure supplier accountability for key performance indicators.
• Educates suppliers on policies, routing guides, deductions, and dispute resolution.
• Lead regular business reviews with supplier partners to discuss profitability and expectations.
