Job summary

Texas State University seeks a Director of the McCoy College Student Success Center, a senior leadership role reporting to the Dean of the McCoy College of Business. The Director will craft and execute a strategic student success plan, guide staff and faculty partnerships, and align programs with accreditation standards and institutional goals.

With a focus on pedagogy, analytics, and collaboration across college and university leadership, this position drives initiatives that improve retention,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• 6+ years of leadership in higher education, talent development, or career development.
• Experience designing programs that support student success, retention, or career readiness.
• Experience supervising professional staff and managing operating budgets.
• Experience using data to inform programming decisions and evaluate outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic vision into a sequenced, evidence-grounded action plan for the Center.
• Allocate resources and maintain essential relationships to advance the plan.
• Represent the Center and Dean’s Office in planning, governance, and academic administration.
• Collaborate with faculty to design programs that support student success and research initiatives.
• Develop partnerships with alumni, employers, and community partners to expand opportunities for students.
• Lead staff development, program growth, and budget oversight.
