Capstone On-Campus Management seeks a Director of Student Housing Facilities & Operations to oversee The Heights at Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. You will manage maintenance, custodial operations, capital planning, and budgets, while collaborating with campus partners to ensure a safe, well-maintained housing experience for residents.

The role requires 7+ years in housing or facilities management, strong leadership and communication skills, and experience supervising staff.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in student housing operations or facilities management.
• Experience in budgeting, personnel, data analysis and capital planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with campus partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and housing management software.
• Able to supervise staff and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and program management for residential community.
• Represent and communicate with the University, owner, auditors, and staff.
• Coordinate with University partners in Housing, Finance, Facilities, and Safety.
• Oversee office management, staff supervision, and facility operations.
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance and service delivery systems.
• Oversee annual turn of apartments and move-in/move-out processes.
• Distribute weekly operations and licensing reports.
