Guggenheim Investments seeks an experienced attorney in New York to support its Asset-Based Finance and Private Investment businesses. The role covers securitizations, credit facilities, and other structured finance transactions, across lifecycle from structuring to execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of securitization legal experience
• Deep familiarity with asset-based finance (ABF) and structured credit investing
• Strong ability to manage complex issues across deal lifecycles
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Collaborative/team-oriented approach

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating potential equity, credit, and structured credit investments with hard assets focus
• Structuring, negotiating, and overseeing legal diligence and documentation for debt financings, acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures
• Provide legal counseling for monitoring existing investments and vehicles
• Advise on documentation and monitoring of contract triggers, restructuring analysis
• Manage hard asset and infrastructure investments involving title, survey, zoning, and environmental review
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders with integrity and accountability
• Participate in projects and manage outside counsel budgets and spend
