Job summary

Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets unit of Guggenheim Partners, is seeking an analyst for its Structured Products Origination team in New York. You will support securitization transactions across asset classes, help prepare marketing materials, develop cash flow models, and conduct market research to identify new opportunities.

The role emphasizes teamwork and rigorous quantitative work.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
At least two years of analyst experience in a structured products or related group at a major financial institution, top-tier accounting firm or rating agency.
Experience with cash flow modeling of ABS, CLO or other securitized products required.
Strong quantitative skills; Excel modeling experience required, VBA familiarity preferred.
Detail-oriented, organized, with initiative and ability to multitask and work as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support deal team in all aspects of securitization transactions across asset classes.
Help prepare marketing presentations, term sheets and rating agency materials.
Develop securitization cash flow models and perform portfolio and historical data analysis.
Conduct market research and industry review projects for new asset classes.
Develop and maintain databases and automated tools used by the team to track information such as transaction pricings, investor participation, etc.
