Job summary

Guggenheim Securities in New York seeks an Associate for the Capital Structure Advisory Group to lead day-to-day project management on liability management, restructuring and financing assignments.

You'll perform due diligence, analyze market trends, build financial models and present strategic recommendations to senior bankers and clients, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in investment banking, accounting, consulting, private equity, hedge fund or corporate finance.
• SIE Exam, Series 79 and Series 63 must be acquired within 150 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project management and execution on a broad range of advisory and financing transactions.
• Perform due diligence of companies, including managing financial and operational diligence requests and discussing questions with management.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and company-specific information to identify client solutions.
• Analyze accounting and financial records to guide projections and client presentations.
• Develop and integrate strategic ideas into presentations for stakeholders.
• Contribute to deal pitches and identify, research, and analyze restructuring and financing opportunities.
• Build and develop client relationships and mentor junior staff.
• Manage and develop junior staff.
