Job summary

KPMG LLP seeks a Director to join our KPMG Strategy practice in New York. You will serve as a key advisor, identify and direct enterprise-wide integration and separation strategy, and oversee delivery of related workstreams.

You will lead business development in Integration, M&A, Separation, Deal Advisory, targeting C-levels, proposing services, and closing opportunities. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage interviews, workshops, and research, and oversee final deliverables and staff

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of experience in developing and implementing M&A integration and separation solutions within a consulting advisory firm.
• MBA preferred; bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Experience in Strategy or Corporate Development, and M&A deal experience with a corporate development team.
• Experience managing multiple complex initiatives across the M&A life cycle.
• Strong relationships with senior clients in a professional services environment.
• Willing to travel up to 80-100% and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a key advisor, identify and direct enterprise-wide integration and separation strategy and oversee execution of related deliverables.
• Help lead business development initiatives focused on Integration, M&A, Separation and Deal Advisory with C-level targeting, proposing services and closing opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing services, managing interviews, leading workshops, and conducting industry research.
• Manage the development and presentation of final project deliverables.
• Oversee the quality of engagements and the development of staff.
