Job summary

The Director of Strategy, Analytics and Business Insights will partner with CDO leadership to review trends, guide cross-functional teams, and deliver actionable recommendations to senior executives.

Reporting to the Director II, this role shapes the data-centric transformation, aligns initiatives with strategic objectives, and ensures data integrity across trial systems while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or business field in statistics or mathematics with clinical experience.
• 10 years of pharmaceutical experience with knowledge of clinical trials, analytics, and related tech.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills to explain analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional leaders.
• Broad experience across functions with knowledge of drug development issues.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CDO VPs and senior leaders to identify trends and drive action steps.
• Communicate insights and objective analysis to leadership to support decisions.
• Plan, organize, implement, and maintain strategies and initiatives for the function.
• Present findings at executive meetings and follow up with additional analyses as needed.
• Maintain and evolve processes for industry benchmarks and pipeline trends.
• Develop reporting to monitor KPIs and leading/lagging indicators for transformation.
• Provide strategic direction across system owners ensuring data integrity.
• Anticipate technology needs to leverage data for efficiencies and value.
• Conduct ad-hoc projects to answer critical questions from leadership.
• Ensure consistency of insight generation across therapeutic areas.
