Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Clinical Director, Clinical Data and AI Convergence, to lead physician-driven integration of data and AI across R&D. You will shape AI-enabled clinical workflows, align with regulatory and governance standards, and drive end-to-end improvements in trial execution and decision quality.

The role combines deep medical expertise with applied data science to deliver scalable, enterprise-wide solutions and significant operational impact across AbbVie’s therapeutic portfolio.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (M.D.) or equivalent with 8–10 years in pharma/biotech clinical development.
• Deep understanding of the clinical development lifecycle including trial design and regulatory submission.
• Proven success leading enterprise-level workflow transformations integrating AI into regulated operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the principal clinical integration authority for Convergence initiatives.
• Lead efforts to architect advanced analytical and AI-enabled processes embedded into R&D workflows.
• Oversee validation of AI outputs for patient selection, endpoints, and trial optimization.
