As the Director of Strategic Volunteer Partnerships, you are a strategic and innovative leader responsible for designing, building, and scaling corporate volunteer engagement strategies that deepen community impact, strengthen corporate partnerships, and advance the Foundation’s mission. This role serves as the architect of a modern volunteer engagement model, creating meaningful and measurable service opportunities that connect corporate partners, employees, and communities.
You are responsible for developing new programs, processes, systems, and operating models that enhance efficiency, consistency, and impact across the organization. Leveraging technology, data, automation, and emerging tools where appropriate, this leader drives innovation while ensuring solutions remain practical, scalable, and aligned with organizational values. Demonstrates and maintains a positive, professional manner, manages time efficiently and effectively, provides leadership as a role model to promote a team approach, collaborates and participates in policy creation and appropriate problem-solving methods.
Must adhere to all policies, procedures, terms and conditions set forth in the National Church Residences’ Employee Information Guide (EIG), the Code of Conduct, as well as any facility handbook, including but not limited to, corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state, local regulations and laws.
With respect to Resident Rights, ensure all care is provided with respect and dignity for the residents/clients, their families and the staff. Reports all complaints made by residents/clients and/or families to the appropriate supervisors, reports all allegations of abuse, misappropriation of funds/resident property and/or any other corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state and local regulations and laws.
Completes all annual education requirements timely, including but not limited to Compliance, Privacy, Security and HIPAA training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the Code of Conduct in the performance of their duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Experience:
Minimum of seven (7) years of leadership experience in volunteer engagement, corporate partnerships, community engagement, program management, or related fields.
Demonstrated success designing and implementing new programs, processes, systems, or operating models.
Experience leading complex initiatives from concept through execution and scale.
Strong strategic planning, project management, relationship-building, and communication skills required.
Experience utilizing technology and data to improve operations, performance, and decision-making.
Preferred Experience:
Experience leading national or multi-market volunteer engagement programs. Experience implementing technology, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
Experience using artificial intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies in business operations.
Experience in nonprofit, foundation, healthcare, corporate social responsibility, or community engagement environments.
Skills:
Must have excellent communication, presentation, comprehension, and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English, as well as the ability to make self-understood.
Must have good computer skills with basic professional computer software (Microsoft Office suite, Windows, etc.) and the capacity for learning new software systems quickly.
Must be self-directed with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks and assignments concurrently.
Must be able to successfully lead others in an environment of complexity.
Must have strong motivational skills and a high emotional intelligence quotient (EQ)
Travel: Up to 35%
Licensure: Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet the company motor vehicle policy
