Job summary

Twenty-Six Defense seeks a Director of Supply Chain to lead all supply chain functions within the Warfighter Systems division. You will drive supplier strategy, long-range capacity planning, and cross-functional integration to meet cost, schedule, and quality commitments.

You will oversee procurement, subcontract negotiations, and risk management while ensuring AS9100, ITAR, and DFARS compliance. Travel 10–20% is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of supply chain, procurement, or operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years leading teams with cross-functional influence.
• Strong understanding of supplier development, risk mitigation, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer material procurement programs to supply all required materials and services.
• Negotiate and manage subcontracts and supplier agreements for major subsystems.
• Review bills of materials and selection of best vendors for quotes and terms.
• Monitor procurement functions and keep management informed of status and issues.
• Establish procurement policies and procedures, including subcontract terms and vendor relations.
• Represent the company in negotiations with government or customers for procurement activities.
• Ensure adequate sources of supply considering new technologies, quality, and delivery.
• Evaluate labor requirements and optimize staffing to meet production schedules.
• Develop and mentor subordinates; promote performance and career growth.
• Resolve supply chain problems and coordinate cross-departmental solutions.
