Job summary

Twenty-Six Defense in Roanoke, VA seeks a Manager Operations to provide mid-tier leadership bridging Production Supervisors and the Director of Operations. You will oversee multiple production zones, promote standardized processes, ensure flow, quality, and safety, and maintain strong employee relations.

You will coordinate with Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, and Engineering to remove barriers and drive continuous improvement while coaching supervisors and supporting hiring and workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–7 years of production, manufacturing, or operations experience.
• Experience leading teams or supervising production staff.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, build plans, labor planning, and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Production Supervisors across assigned production areas.
• Ensure daily production plans, staffing, and workflow execution meet requirements.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, and Engineering to remove barriers to production success.
• Champion Lean/continuous improvement and standard work across areas.
• Provide coaching and development to improve leadership maturity and technical capability.
