Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Director of Strategic Sourcing to shape sourcing strategy across North American utility-scale renewables. You will influence supplier selection, pricing, contracting, and risk mitigation from development through construction for PV, BESS, wind, and HV equipment.

You will work with Development, Engineering, Pre-Construction, Delivery, Legal, Finance, and Health & Safety teams to deliver project competitiveness and governance, with a strong focus on supplier

Qualifications

• 15+ years in renewable energy, utility-scale construction, industrial capital projects, or strategic sourcing.
• Experience leading sourcing and contract management for large, U.S. and Canada projects.
• Advanced knowledge of bidding, negotiations, contract development, supplier qualification, logistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute NA category and sourcing strategies for utility-scale solar, wind, storage, and HV equipment.
• Lead supplier identification, bidding, negotiations, and contract awards with OEMs and contractors.
• Own CAPEX inputs and procurement schedules used in budgets and investment decisions.
• Direct RFPs, contracting strategies, bid evaluations, and long-lead equipment procurement from development to operations.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation/contingency to protect schedules and budgets.
• Partner with Engineering, Finance, Legal, and HSE to guide technical and commercial decisions.
• Lead and develop sourcing professionals and embed supplier performance management.
