American Society of Hematology (ASH) seeks a Director, Meetings Strategy to lead vision, planning and execution of ASH’s high-profile meetings portfolio from Washington, DC. The role partners with the Chief Event Strategy Officer to drive enterprise impact, ROI and audience-centric experiences.

The position focuses on strategy, vendor relations, contract negotiations, and data-informed decision making, with a hybrid work model and multi-million-dollar budgets under management.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10 years of experience in planning and executing large-scale meetings.
• Leadership experience in a professional association or healthcare organization preferred.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets and driving ROI.
• Proven ability to translate organizational goals into effective event strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Develop event frameworks that align with ASH’s strategic priorities.
• Analyze participant needs to maximize engagement and ROI.
• Set KPIs to measure enterprise impact and ROI using data.
• Lead partner and sponsorship strategy to drive revenue.
• Negotiate contracts with venues and vendors to ensure value.
• Track deliverables to ensure ROI for sponsors and exhibitors.
